1351142 Tube pressure filter ENGLISH CLAYS LOVERING POCHIN & CO Ltd 19 April 1971 [11 Feb 1970] 6696/70 Addition to 1240465 Heading B1D In a tube pressure filter generally as disclosed in Specification 1,240,465, hydraulic fluid to inflate sleeve 330 is delivered into the space between the sleeve and outer tube 301 through at least one opening 311A and/or 311B which extends round the periphery of tube 301. The shown, possibly covered with mesh to prevent opening may be a continuous annular slot as sleeve 330 being drawn into it during deflation, or a series of circumferentially spaced holes. The slot, if uncovered, is no more than ¢ inch wide. (For Figure see next column)
