1442842 Liquid filter ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 15 Nov 1973 [16 Nov 1972] 53015/73 Heading B1D A liquid filter in a hydraulic circuit comprises two pleated annular elements 11 and 14, and an air scavenger pipe 22 having small holes 23 and 25 which induces air trapped between the elements to be drawn through filtrate outlet 19, as small bubbles to avoid cavitation in a downstream pump. Elements 11 and 14 are sealed between plates 12, 13 and 12, 15 respectively. Liquid enters through the external circular Wall and central tube 17 and exits through central aperture 19. A by-pass valve 16 is fitted.
