Abstract

1350030 Concrete tile press J HILLJE 25 May 1972 [27 May 1971] 24710/72 Heading B5A A concrete tile press comprises at least two mould tables 3 (Fig. 1) movable independently along parallel tracks 2 between at least two working stations. At least one concrete feeder 7 and a pressing die 13 are movable parallel to one another and transverse of the tracks 2. As described for moulding two-layer tiles, two mould tables 3 move along rails 2 between two filling stations X, Y and a pressing station Z. Concrete feeders 7 and 8 supply facing and core concrete respectively and are guided by rollers on rails 6. Their rectangular outlets are sealed by a plate 10 when between stations. While one mould table 3 is receiving facing and then core concrete, the second table is undergoing pressing and then tile ejection. The tables and feeders are moved by two interconnected cylinders 14, 15 (Fig. 5), one piston being connected to a machine frame, and the second to the table or feeder.
