Abstract

1350010 Brackets HILLALDAM COBURN Ltd and J A STEWART 6 Dec 1971 56501/71 Heading A4B [Also in Divisions B7 and El] A tubular track for the hangers of a sliding door is suspended by a series of brackets 10 which encircle the track and have a longitudinal slot in their lower surface to provide clearance for the door runners, each bracket also having a pair of oppositely facing open ended slots 17 or holes arranged at each end of said longitudinal slot and an internal, medial depression 15 formed by a reinforcement rib such that, when the bracket supports an end of the track, an L-shaped end stop 18 may be inserted from either side of the bracket, one limb of the L engaging in one pair of slots or holes 17 and the other limb having a port which resiliently engages said depression 15. Said other limb may also have a lip 24 which engages the brackets edge. The depression 15 may be continuous or in the form of a number of spaced depressions.
