Abstract

1349502 Container fastenings FRUEHAUF CORP 5 April 1972 [5 April 1971] 15643/72 Heading E2B A twist-lock stud assembly for a lifting beam 106 comprises an elongated shank 23 adapted in use to be so mounted on the beam as to project therefrom, the shank having a base portion 35 at the projecting end thereof, two lugs 37, 39 of different lengths extending laterally outward in opposite directions from the base portion different distances from the shank, and a locator 61 carried by the shank for fitting in an opening of a container corner fitting 111 to prevent undesirable lateral movement of the shank in the corner fitting when the twist lock is disposed therein. The twist lock is turned to the operative position thereof by an arm 134.
