1345851 Water dynamometer AVCO CORP 17 July 1972 [17 Sept 1971] 33278/72 Heading G1W A water dynamometer comprises rotor discs 16 mounted on shaft 18 and stator discs 14 attached to an inner housing 12, the inner housing 12 having a non-circular inner cross-section. Housing 12 may have a square, rectangular or elliptical cross-section, and is supported inside an outer cylindrical housing 10. Water is admitted to housing 12 at inlet 26, and leaves the housing 12 by entering the space 13 between housings 10 and 12 before being removed through outlet 30.
