Abstract

1344979 Grippers for Axminster looms APPLEBY EDMONDS Ltd 19 April 1971 [24 Feb 1970] 8792/70 Heading DIE A gripper for an Axminster loom has two jaws 10 and 13 which each have a pair of lugs 23 whose outer surfaces 24 are coplanar with the side surfaces of the respective jaw and whose inner surfaces 26 engage the inner surfaces of the lugs on the opposing jaw, to maintain the jaws in a common plane. The jaws of the gripper may be pivoted together as described in Specification 1344978.
