Abstract

1344773 Blasting ICI AUSTRALIA Ltd 11 Jan 1972 [18 Jan 1971] 1230/72 Heading E1F An upwardly inclined bore hole in a rock structure is filled with a viscous slurried explosive prepared by supplying separate streams of free. flowing constituent explosive materials to the required position in the bore hole and there mixing the streams to form the required viscous slurried explosive, the mixture being such that its viscosity rises substantially within a few seconds of the mixing occurring.
