1342885 Hot top composition FOSECO TRADING AG 19 April 1971 [1 April 1970] 15466/70 Heading C1J A hot top lining slab or sleeve is formed of a composition comprising in wt. per cent: 1 to 47À9 lightweight particulate non fibrous filler with density #0À65 g./c.c. e.g. calcined rice husks, alumina microspheres, enfoliated perlite or vermiculite, or diatomaceous earth; 30-76À9 dense particulate refractory filler having a density >0À65g./c.c. e.g. silica, refractory silicate, alumina, magnesia, zirconia or grog; 10 to 20 refractory fibrous material, e.g. Al or Ca silicate fibre; 0À1 to 3 organic fibrous material, e.g. paper pulp; and 12 to 20 binder, e.g. sodium silicate.
