A wear shoe 21, formed with a sealing strip 22, is secured to the base of the loop 14 and in order to provide a seal in way of the attachments 9 a bead 20 is secured along the top edge of the loop so as to be urged by cushion pressure into engagement with the structure. The shirt is described for use with a platform for moving a load over limited distances, the platform being partly supported on and moved by a plurality of fork lift trucks. Alternatively the shirt may be attached directly to the load and the cushion air may be delivered through a flexible pipe from a static compressor.
