Abstract

1341965 Screens W E HOPE 28 May 1971 [26 March 1970] 14750/70 Heading B2H A screening panel for use in a vibratory screening machine comprises corrugated strips 10 of rectangular (Fig. 3) or wedge-shaped (Fig. 4) cross-section assembled side-by-side and held in and by a rigid surrounding frame 12. The strips are welded to cross-bars 11 so that the latter are below the screening surface formed by the strips. The strips and the crossbars are in turn welded to the frame 12. The strips and the frame may be of stainless steel. Adjacent strips are corrugated in opposite sense to define square or diamond-shaped screening apertures and preferably they do not touch each other.
