Abstract

1341914 Flexible shaft couplings BORGS FABRIKS AB 19 April 1971 [6 Feb 1970] 20281/71 Heading F2U A pin 2 extending (e.g. coaxially) from an elastic element 6 able to transmit torque thereto from a first shaft 1 has one end entering (e.g. only just) a bore 21 in a second shaft 13, the pin passing through a ring 19 between the adjacent ends of the shafts 1, 2, there being releasable securing devices (e.g. screws 20, 24, 25 and plate 23) securing the ring to the pin (e.g. by the reduced end of screw 20 entering a hole 27) and to the second shaft. The pin 2 may also pass through a support ball bearing 4 and a spacer 26. The other end of the shaft 2 may have a similar coupling.
