1340180 Diagnostic agent for primary hepatoma KOWA CO Ltd 16 Dec 1970 [18 Dec 1969 19 Feb 1970 29 July 1970 28 Aug 1970] 29833/73 Divided out of 1339737 Heading B1X A diagnostic agent for primary hepatoma is prepared by adsorbing anti-alpha-1-feto globulin on a particulate carrier medium and dispersing the resulting material in a dispersion medium. The carrier media exemplified are ion exchange resins, polystyrene latex, kaolin; others are mentioned. The carrier particles are preferably spherical with diameters in the range 0.5 to 3 microns. The dispersion medium may be a buffer solution pH 6.5 to 8.5 containing 0.5 to 5 w/v % antibody loaded carrier and optionally dyestuff, preservative, dispersing agent.
