1,211,361. Proteinaceous agglomerates. ORSYMONDE. 26 Feb., 1968 [15 March, 1967; 1 Sept., 1967], Nos. 12246/67 and 40043/67. Heading A2E. Porous granules of readily dispersible proteinaceous material having a specific volume at least equal to that of their component individual particles, whilst their apparent specific weight is greater, and having dimension 4-10 times greater than the individual particles, may be prepared by moistening the finely divided material (preferably having a particle size below 60 microns) with water or an aqueous alcoholic mixture, agglomerating the so moistened particles, screening the separate fines, and drying.
