1338920 Mounting coins on jewellery P L BUSHELL 16 Sept 1971 43151/71 Heading A3H An article of jewellery, e.g. a ring, broach, or pendant, has a mount, e.g. for a coin, comprising a base affording a seat for the object to be mounted and a removable push fitting cap which retains the object and has an aperture or is transparent so that the mounted object is visible. In the embodiment the base 4 of a circular mount for a coin has an annular recess 9 in side wall 6 resiliently engagable by an annular projection 12 on wall 10 of cap 5. The recess and projection may be reversed and/or replaced by a member of spaced recesses and projections. The wall 7 may be soldered to the ring &c when both parts are metal. The inner edge of wall 7 may be bent towards the cap or a spacer may be placed on it to hold thin coins more tightly.
