Abstract

1337614 Mountings for piezoelectric resonators TOKYO ELECTRIC CO Ltd and TOKYO SHIBAURA ELECTRIC CO Ltd 10 May 1971 [13 May 1970] 14060/71 Heading H1E A filter comprises an electroded ceramic resonator disc 1 held at its centre by projections 12, 14 on terminal plates 11a, 11b, the disc lying with clearance in cylindrical recesses 4<SP>1</SP>, 6<SP>1</SP> of an inner container 5a, 5b, the terminal plates lying snugly within further cylindrical recesses 4<SP>11</SP>, 6<SP>11</SP>, the halves 5a, 5b of the container having inter-engaging annular lands and recesses 4, 6, and further radial lands and recesses (7, 9, 10, Figs. 1, 2, not shown) to accommodate terminal tags 11a 2 , 11b 2 , the inner container being enclosed within an outer container 3. The latter may have tongues 3b 1 , 3b 2 for attachment to a circuit board. One (or both) of the projections 12, 14 is mounted on a resilient tongue 13 formed in the terminal plate (or plates). The outer container is sealed by a member 15. The annular lands and grooves 4, 6 may be segmental.
