Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a miniature filter that can absorb the voltage surge or the high voltage pulse, by securing a combination of a plate type element combining a capacitor with the property of a varister and a ferrite bead when the noise intruding from a power supply line, etc. CONSTITUTION:A through terminal 2 is provided to a cylindrical outside terminal 1 equipped with stages, and an attachment screw 3 is formed at a part of the outer circumference of the terminal 1. A flange part 2A is formed in a body at the middle part of the terminal 2. A disk-shaped element 5 is provided between the part 2A and the staged part 4 of the terminal 1 so that the terminal 2 goes through the center part of the element 5. The element 5 forms electrodes 7A and 7B on both surfaces of a varister ceramics 6, and these electrodes are fixed to the terminals 1 and 2 by soldering. At the same time, a ferrite bead 8 is fitted at the outer circumference of the terminal 2. Thereafter, the inside of the terminal 1 is casted by the insulated resin 9. In such constitution, a filter in which an inductance L is inserted in parallel into the terminal 2 and a varister B and a capacitor C are connected in parallel between the terminals 1 and 2 can be obtained to absorb the voltage surge or the high voltage pulse.
