Abstract
PURPOSE:To absorb voltage surge and high voltage pulse suitable for small sized device with high reliability, by combining a plate-shaped element having the properties of a capacitor and a varistor with a troidal coil. CONSTITUTION:An insulation tape is stuck to the inner circumference of an outer terminal 1 of stepped cylindrical shape, and a troidal coil 5 wounded on a troidal core 3 is located to the inside of this terminal. An insulation disc 6 fixed with a pipe-shaped circular terminal 7 at the center is inserted to an opening of the terminal 1 and the end of winding of the coil 5 is soldered to an inner terminal 7. On the other hand, electrodes 11A, 11B are formed on both sides of a varistor porcelain 10 and a disc element 9 having the properties of a varistor and a capacitor is located at a step 8 of the terminal 1, the electrode 11A is soldered to the inside of the inner surface of the step 8 and the eletrode 11B and the end of the troidal coil winding are soldered to a pipe-shaped inner terminal 12.
