1337539 Travelling-wave tubes ENGLISH ELECTRIC VALVE CO Ltd 6 Oct 1972 46178/72 Heading H1D The helix 5 of a travelling-wave tube is supported by four horseshoe-shaped rods 3, 4, 6, and 7 disposed within a recess 2 in a solid member 1, pressure being applied by a closure member 8 when the assembly is slid into an outer sleeve 10.
