Abstract

1336711 Shelving, shop counters HARRIS & SHELDON (DISPLAY) Ltd 4 Jan 1971 [4 Oct 1969] 48871/69 Headings A4B, A4T An extruded plastics strip is fitted over the edge of a shelf or counter and provides a support for partition connectors 13, the strip comprising a channel portion 4 defined between flanges 3 between which the edge of the shelf 15 or counter is received and a longitudinal row of holes 11 disposed immediately adjacent the body portion 2 of the strip, which holes 11 receive depending locating pegs 12 of the connectors 13. The flanges 3 extend from one side of a rectangular body portion 2 provided on its opposite side with a groove 10 to receive a label 18. The holes 11 are formed at the bottoms of grooves 9 in the roots of the flanges 3. Shelfengaging ribs 6 are provided at the free edges of the flanges 3.
