A shelving structure includes different width shelves 2a, 2b and 3a, 3b supported on L-section supports 4, 5 or 6 each comprising two walls, such as 6a and 6b, with respective widths equal to those of the shelves 2a, 2b and 3a, 3b and supported on edge on a bench 1 or an underlying shelf, one wall engaging beneath the rear longitudinal edge of the supported shelf and the other wall lying in a vertical plane extending widthwise of the shelf. A keying strip (8) may be engaged in facing grooves provided respectively along a main face of the shelf adjacent its longitudinal edge and in the edge face, as at 7, of the support.
