Abstract

1285564 Shelving SHOWRAX Ltd 26 Nov 1969 [26 Nov 1968] 56070/68 Heading A4B A tubular upright 10 for supporting shelf brackets (15), Fig. 5 (not shown) on two opposite, parallel sides 11, 12 is provided in each side 11, 12 with a vertical row of slots 11a, 12a, the rows being oppositely offset with respect to a plane containing the vertical centres lines of the opposite sides 11, 12, and each slot 11a, 12a being provided with a central projection extending upwardly from its lower edge. As shown the projection comprises a nib 14. Alternatively, the projection comprises a vertical strip extending from the bottom to the top edge of the slot. The brackets (15) may be as described co-pending Application 56071/68. Brackets (15) or the bifurcated ends thereof are engaged on each side of the projection 14 and brackets on opposite sides of the upright 10 have their ends in overlapping relationship.
