1335237 Tyre building apparatus FIRESTONE TIRE & RUBBER CO 19 Jan 1971 [11 Feb 1970] 44989/71 Divided out of 1335231 Heading B7C Apparatus for removing a green tyre carcass from a building drum comprises a discharge ring 1432 formed of a number of arcuate segments 1455-1459 adapted to engage a stitchedin bead of a carcass while the drum is being held and supporting it after the drum has been collapsed, each segment being provided with a shoulder which supports the bead and with a wedge for aligning a misaligned bead, the segments being circularly arranged and movable radially in unison to engage different sized beads by piston and cylinder devices.
