Abstract

1332343 Perambulators TAN SAD-ALLWIN Ltd 3 Sept 1971 [31 Oct 1970] 51880/70 Heading B7B A perambulator or other infant carriage of the kind provided with a pair of X-frames associated with a wheeled chassis and supporting a platform for the pram body has a safety catch preventing collapse of the X-frames. The safety catch comprises a U-shaped stay 29 pivoted to the limbs 24 of the pram handle and loaded by torsion springs 32 to engage the platform 16. Locking rings 28 releasably engage links 17b, such that on disengagement of the rings 28 the handle can be removed clear of the rings and the safety catch pivoted clear of the platform to permit collapse of the X-frames.
