The wire is surrounded with a thermal storage mass (not shown) to form a thermal storage heater. The heater may comprise several bodies of one or both types and a control thermostat and/or time switch may be provided in the current circuits. A thermostatically controlled fan for controllable removal of heal may be arranged on at least one of the heater bodies.
