Abstract

The plate warming system comprises several identical plate supports provided with an electric heating coil (18) and at least three downwardly projecting support pins (24), two of which are conductively connected to one or the other end of the heating coil. A support and electrical contact device (2) is provided for use with several of the plate warming supports and has on its upper side indentations (8) which are to house the protruding ends (24a) of the support pins of one of the supports (1). The base of the two of these indentations are each formed by the head of an electrical contact member (9), the two contact elements (9) being connected to a plug (7) by a manual switch (6). The plates and plate warming supports are thereby designed to be stacked one above the other on top of the common stand.
