Abstract

1330621 Gauntlet gloves D LEWIS Ltd 17 Jan 1972 2116/72 Heading A3V A gauntlet glove having thumb and finger portions T, F has attached thereto a flap in the form of a mitten 1 shaped to enclose said portions T, F and to extend over the palm portion, the flap being provided with a slit 3 closable by a press stud fastener 4 and an elastic strap 6 and press stud 7 to secure the flap at the wrist portion of the glove, and the gauntlet portion of the glove being formed with a slit giving access to a pocket 11 for receiving the flap 1 when not in use the slit being closable by a zip-fastener 12. Gauntlet straps 8 and 9 secure the gauntlet portion tightly about a wearer's wrist. (For Figure see next page)
