Abstract

1329300 Treatment chambers PIELKENROOD-VINITEX NV 4 Dec 1970 [18 Dec 1969] 57597/70 Heading A5R A treatment chamber, for example for babies, comprises a bottom 1, transparent side and top walls 9, 12, and a back wall provided with dust filters 7 connected to an air supply assembly with at least one blower 5, the front wall 11 being hinged and arranged so that it cannot be completely closed. The front wall is preferably in two halves 14, 15 connected by a hinge 17 which may be arranged to fold inwards or outwards and the output of the blowers may be dependent on the extent to which the front wall is opened. Apertures (25, 31) Fig. 1, (not shown) may be provided in the front or side walls, which apertures may be provided with gloves or used to transmit fluids to the interior. Further apertures (24) in the front wall may be provided to allow a passage of air to keep the sidewalls dustfree. An auxiliary bottom 26 may be provided to support a baby and may be surrounded by walls 29. The auxiliary bottom may be held on supports 27 which pass through the bottom 1 in a dust-proof manner for connection to a weighing machine. The upper wall may be surmounted by a light source 12 and is preferably transparent to X-rays.
