Abstract
602,275. Cot stands. PERVIN PRODUCTS, Ltd., and KIDD, F. T. Sept. 14, 1945, No. 23783. [Classes 52(ii) and 52(iii)] A carrier cot of the kind described below is supported on a cross-frame i, j, Fig. 3, hinged at k, the two parts of the frame folding into the same plane, cross-bars l, m support the cot and another cross-bar n limits the extent of opening of the crossframe, the cot being retained on the cross-bars 1, m by the upper ends of the cross-frame i, j. The carrier or cot is formed of leatherette or like material of double thickness a, b, Fig. 2, and is provided with panels of plywood &c. which are inserted between the thickness of the sides when making up, the double material at the ends being left open for the insertion of plywood panels d which are held in position by folding over extensions o of the outer lining into the pockets formed by the inner lining. The bottom b may have a plywood panel c inserted between the thicknesses of the bottom either when making up or through an end pocket. Carrying handles f are attached to the body and a detachable head screen h, Fig. 3, and apron g may be provided.
