780,347. Golf bags. SINCLAIR, OWEN & CO., Ltd. Jan. 23, 1956 [Jan. 22, 1955], No. 1981/55. Class 132(2) A golf bag is formed on a framework of three oval or elliptical bands 9 to 11 joined by longitudinal ties 12. The lower end band 10 is integral with or secured to an oval disc-like plate while the upper band 9 has dividers or struts 13 extending across the band parallel to its minor axis. On the front of the bag is a large pocket 14 opened vertically by a sliding clasp fastener. Above the pocket 14 is a small ball pocket 15 opening laterally and having on its front face a wallet-like slot opening 16. The bag is also provided with a detachable hood which may be reversed and hung over the back of the bag when not in use. and which has a sliding clasp fastener to allow access to the bag when the hood is in use.
