Abstract

1326607 Tube mills WEDAG WESTFALIA DINNENDAHL GROPPEL AG 5 Nov 1970 [5 Nov 1969] 52632/70 Heading B2A A mill, particularly a tube mill 1, is controlled by a system comprising a smaller similar mill 7 upstream in which the data for controlling the main mill are determined. Material from bunkers is metered at 5 and a sample crushed at 8 screened at 9 and fed via a hopper 15 to the mill 7. This in turn supplies a separator 11. Coarse material is weighed on a weighbelt 13, 14 and recycled. Product is composed with that from a main separator 3 and weighbelt 4 in a tester 17, whose output signals control a computer (not shown) which in turn controls the mill 1. Data used may be: amount of charge, amount recirculated, amount of ground material, grain sizes, temperature, millability, water injection, Blain value.
