Abstract

1326583 Reclaiming material from piles POHLIG - HECKEL - BLEICHERT VEREINIGTE MASCHINENFABRIK AG 20 Nov 1970 [24 Nov 1969] 55352/70 Heading B8E Conveyer plant for the removal of bulk material from piles 16 comprises a skimmer including a material loosening harrow and a material receiving bucket wheel 1, the skimmer being rotatably mounted on a carriage movable along a track on a bridge 14, the carriage being able to pass from one bridge to another aligned bridge, to increase its working range. The skimmer is rotatable to facilitate removal of material from piles 16 on either side of the bridge 14. In operation, the harrow loosens material which is then lifted by the wheel 1 on to a conveyer 8 which transfers the material to a conveyer 11 extending along the bridge for final deposit on to a main conveyer 17. An end position of the bridge 14 not in use, is tiltable to permit passage therepast of the working bridge. The piles 16 are fed from conveyers 18, 19.
