1324719 Cigarette holders J WEY 24 Nov 1970 [27 Nov 1969] 55929/70 Heading A2M A cigarette holder comprises a tubular member 11 having a mouthpiece at one end (not shown) and an opening 19 for accommodating a cigarette at the other end, and a smoke diverting means 12, 14 provided with ducts 16, 17 and a nozzle opening 15, whereby when air is blown into the mouthpiece it follows the direction of the arrows a, b and aspirates smoke from the cigarette through the duct 16 in the direction c to pass out of the holder with the air flow b through an opening 20 in the wall of the insert 12, 14, no smoke thus entering the mouth of the smoker. Alternative constructions are disclosed, one of which (Fig. 4 not shown) includes a propellor (43a) at its mouthpiece end mounted so as to drive a second, suction propellor (43b) at the opposite end which latter supplements the aspirating effect.
