Abstract
1322013 Laminated products TUFDURA Ltd 7 May 1971 [9 May 1970] 22514/70 Heading B5N A composite sheet comprises three layers of elastomeric sheet material bonded together with intervening layers of a woven mesh-like material, the mesh layers being held in a resiliently prestressed tensile condition in at least one direction of the mesh during the bonding process. The elastomeric layers may be of natural rubber or synthetic rubber or plastics, the outer layers preferably each having a Shore Hardness of 60-65 and the intermediate layer of 35-40. The woven mesh may be a polyester fabric or may be of nylon threads reinforced with polyester in the warp direction. Bonding is effected by means of an adhesive optionally with heat and pressure. Holes may be punched through the sheet so that it can be used as a screen plate to pass particles below a predetermined size.
