1386795 Coated woven conveyor-belt fabrics BBA GROUP Ltd 31 May 1972 [5 May 1971] 13203/71 Heading B2E [Also in Division D1] A multiply conveyor belt fabric 6 has plastics rods 10 incorporated in the weft-wise direction. The rods 10 are inserted into the fabric with selected wefts, e.g. every third in one ply as it is woven, in a layer which may be at the centre of the fabric, or nearer to one face than the other, as shown. The rods may be of nylon 6.6, polyester or polypropylene, and be 0.08 inches in diameter. The fabric may be coated with plastics such as plasticised polyvinyl chloride, synthetic rubber or similar elastomeric material.
