1282998 Carding cloth THEOD SARTORIUS NACHFOLGER 24 Nov 1970 55877/70 Heading B5N [Also in Division D1] A carding cloth having carding wires (D) projecting from a cover layer of natural or synthetic rubber includes a layer of non-woven fibres mixed with natural or synthetic rubber between two woven layers, e.g. of cotton or polyester fibres. In the particular embodiments the carding cloth consists of (1) vulcanized rubber I/woven cotton layer 2/latex impregnated non-woven fabric layers 3/over further layers of woven cotton 4, 5 (2) synthetic rubber 6/ woven cotton 7/impregnated non-woven fibres 8/woven cotton 9/impregnated fibres 10/woven cotton 11/impregnated non-woven fibres 12/ two woven cotton layers 13, 14 and (3) foamed oil-resistant synthetic fibres, rubber felt or foamed synthetic material 15/layers of woven cotton 16, 17/non-woven fibres 18/woven cotton 19/impregnated non-woven fibres 20/woven cotton 21/non-woven fibres 22. Carding wires (D) are inserted through the laminate protruding on the synthetic rubber face.
