1321986 Wall panels O A BECKER 16 Sept 1969 [29 March 1969 13 May 1969 21 May 1969 25 June 1969 22 July 1969 14 Aug 1969 23 Aug 1969] 23484/72 Divided out of 1262789 Heading E1W A building is provided with a plurality of thermally insulating wall units each comprising two opposed panels with a seal at the edges of the panel defining a cavity containing insulation, the cavities of the wall units being connected in common through at least one pipe to an air drier arranged to reduce the vapour pressure in the cavities to an extent that condensation does not normally occur, there being also a plurality of surfaces arranged in each cavity parallel to and spanning the wall panels and acting as thermal reflectors or the opposed inner surfaces of the wall panels acting as thermal reflectors. The wall units per se employed are of the kinds described and claimed in Specifications 1262789 and 1218332. Typically as shown the wall cavities are connected to a common air drier T which is included in an air-conditioning installation comprising a cooling device K, pump P, a heater H, a dust filter S and a volume compensating device. The wall units may make up an internal partition or an outer wall, which may be a curtain wall. Substantially all the description of Specification 1262789 is repeated in the present specification.
