The shaft 1 is held between a number of rollers 3 having two diameters. At their smaller diameters, the rollers 3 are held between other rollers 4 mounted with small clearance on fixed spindles 5. A deformable steel rim 6 of such diameter as to exert pressure on the parts 4, 3, 1 is attached to the hub of a crank for hand or power operation, by a number of screws 6<a> equal to the number of rollers 4, these screws entering clearance slots in the rim 6, which also has a small radial clearance over the hub. The hub is mounted on a boss of the disk 5<a> carried by the spindles 5.
