114,415. Soc. Anon. pour l'Exploitation des Brevets Schoedelin. March 30, 1917, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Friction gearing.-The impeller 2 is mounted directly upon the high-speed shaft 1 of a Schoedelin bearing. The shaft 1 is held between a number of rollers 3 having two diameters. At their smaller diameters the rollers 3 are held between uthar rollers 4 mounted on fixed spindles 5. A deformable steel rim 6 of such diameter as to exert pressure on the parts 4, 3, 1 is attached to a crank and handle for hand operation or may be driven by power. A disk 50, carried on the spindles 5 has a boss which affords axial guidance to the rim 6.
