1321773 Valves DONALD BROWN (BROWNALL) Ltd 9 March 1972 [16 April 1971] 9637/71 Heading F2V A connection for use in operating fittings such as rotary valves or stop-cocks under bench fittings comprises a rod, connected to a handle at one end and to a valve at its other end, which rod is divided longitudinally into two parts encircled by means for holding the parts in contact so that they are relatively slidable in the longitudinal direction but not relatively rotatable. In the embodiment the two rod parts 6 and 7 are of semicircular cross-section and held in contact by a helical spring 8.
