1402846 Valves SERCK INDUSTRIES Ltd 13 July 1972 [15 April 1971] 9466/71 Heading F2V A rotary ball valve comprises a body 10 having a through passage 11, a ball 13 having a through port 14 within said passage and a stem 16 having an enlarged end 25 which is screw threaded so as to pass through a threaded portion 19 of the bore 18 only when rotated relative to the body. Seal rings, 34, 35 are provided of readily deformable material, e.g. p.t.f.e., moulded around a resiliently deformable annular core 36 made of, for example metal.
