1320826 Pneumatic conveyers INSTITUT NATIONAL DES INDUSTRIES EXTRACTIVES 16 Nov 1971 [12 Feb 1971] 53179/71 Heading B8A Suction apparatus for removing granular material from ships, railway trucks &c. comprises a vertically disposed pneumatic conveyer tube 1 mounted to pivot on one end of a hollow beam 2 the interior of which is divided by a diffuser partition 10 adapted to fluidize the material for its conveyance therealong. The other end of the beam 2 is pivotally mounted on a chassis 6 to enable the inclination of said beam to be varied. Suction is provided by a fan 5 and is communicated with the tube 1 along the upper portion of the beam. The suction also serving to draw air through the diffuser 10 to fluidize the material.
