Abstract
1320188 Hydrogenation catalysts ESSO RESEARCH ENG CO 25 June 1971 [15 Oct 1970] 49033/70 Heading B1E [Also in Division C2] A Cu-Ba-Cr catalyst is made (see Example I) by reacting Cu(NO 3 ) 2 3H 2 O, Ba (NO 3 ) 2 , (NH 4 ) 2 Cr 2 O 7 and NH 4 OH, removing the precipitate, drying the latter at 80‹C, pulverising, decomposing by heating over a free flame while stirring, leaching the resulting black mass with acetic acid, washing with water, drying and pulverising.
