Abstract

1319726 Forming trays A DE CAZENOVE 20 May 1971 [28 May 9170] 16068/71 Heading B5A [Also in Division B8] A mould, Fig. 6, for producing trays 1 of the kind shown in Figs. 1, 2 comprises upper and lower heated parts 16, 17 with complementary projections and recesses 18, 19 passages 20 and holes 21 being formed respectively between certain portions corresponding to the compartments 2. To provide a solid portion between two adjacent compartments 2 of a tray a closure element 34 is inserted into a corresponding passage 20 and fixed to the upper part 16, an opening between two neighbouring compartments 2 being formed by a separating element 35 which is detachably secured in a hole 21 in the lower part 17 directly below a corresponding passage 20. Similar kinds of moulds Figs. 8, 12, not shown, are described for producing trays according to the modifications of Figs. 3 and 4, 5, not shown.
