Abstract

1319316 Endless conveyers STAHLGRUBER OTTO GRUBER & CO 24 June 1970 [26 June 1969] 30756/70 Heading B8A [Also in Division F2] A rubber cover 4 for protecting conveyer belt rollers and return idlers has an outer wear resistant layer 1 of vulcanized rubber and an inner connecting layer 2 of unvulcanized cold vulcanizable rubber mixture. The layer 2 may be maintained unvulcanized by omission of sulphur or an accelerator. After a metal roller core 3 has been coated with a first layer of adhesive which is allowed to dry, and a second layer of adhesive the cover 4 has one end 5 blocked and is inflated as at 9 and slid on to the core, the layer 2 having been treated with the omitted sulphur or accelerator.
