Abstract

1317115 Circuit assemblies LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS GmbH 2 July 1971 [3 July 1970] 31211/71 Heading H1R Lightning arresters 1 are held in contact springs 2 which are supported on a board 3. The inner contact springs 8 are electrically connected together by a printed circuit earth path (5<SP>1</SP>), (Fig. 3, not shown), on the other side of the board, while the outer contact springs 9 are separately connected by further paths (5) to a plug 7 for connection to the circuits to be protected. The board is preferably of epoxy resin reinforced with glass fibre and the copper printed circuit is coated with a synthetic varnish having high insulating properties. The contact springs may be replaced by soldering eyelets.
