Abstract

1316806 Overhead conveyer systems VON ROLL AG 2 June 1970 [2 June 1969] 26653/70 Heading B7L In a transport unit for an overhead conveyer which enables heavy loads to be moved along a track which includes horizontally and/or vertically curved sections, two carriages 4, 5 are provided to run on a track 1 or 2, the carriages being linked together by frame means 9 which includes a rigid support frame 10 and two support arms 13, 14; the support arms are pivotably attached at one end to the carriages 4, 5 at 15, 16 respectively, with the pivot axes parallel to the upper surface la or 2a of the track and transverse to the direction of movement of the unit-the support arms are pivotably attached at the other end to the frame 10, the pivot axes in this case being perpendicular to the frame 10 and to the pivot axes 15, 16. Retaining arms 17 and 18 having rotatable discs 19 are provided for suspending a load container 20 from the unit by means of tronglus 21 on the container. A motor 7 is provided to drive the carriages.
