1316484 Easy-opening containers AMERICAN CAN CO 12 May 1970 [13 May 1969] 22854/70 Heading B8D In a container end component having a pull tab 22 riveted to a removable scoreline-defined panel 16, the handle-loop portion 30 is prevented from vibrating by upwardly-extending beads 32 formed on the panel and pressing against the handle-loop portion. In an alternative embodiment, Fig. 5, the beads are replaced by downwardly-projecting portions 50 formed in the handle-loop portion.
