Abstract
1316349 Rail vehicle couplings GERMANY MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT 20 Oct 1970 49698/70 Heading B7T In a rail vehicle control buffer coupling arrangement the coupling 1 is connected to a traction and buffing spring device 2 by means of a coupling arm 5 being mounted on a pin 4 so as to be horizontally and vertically swingable, the arms 5 being formed with a stop face 6 which has a flat portion 9 flanked by convex portions 10, and a pressure plate 7 of the device 2 having a convex surface 8 of a radius of curvature equal to the distance between pin 4 and the coupling plane. The surfaces may be shaped as above when considered in the horizontal and/or vertical directions. Alternatively the surfaces 6 and 8 may have the shape of each other, in which case the radius of curvature of face 6 will be greater than the distance between this face and the coupling plane. The curvature of portion 10 is considerably smaller than the latter distance.
