Abstract
1314876 Reinforced concrete construction CIVIL & CIVIC PTY Ltd 30 April 1970 [13 May 1969] 20880/70 Headings E1W and E1S A multi-storey concrete construction is formed by erecting partially reinforced column casings (see Fig. 10, not shown), supporting primary beam trusses 13 (see Figs. 4, 5, not shown) thereon, attaching the primary beam framework 30A thereto, adding any remaining primary beam or beam/column reinforcement, supporting secondary beam trusses 25 on the primary trusses, erecting slab and secondary beam framework, e.g. 30, 31 adjacent the primary beams and fixing the beam/beam reinforcement, and then pouring the primary beam and column infill concrete. The further steps for each flow are completed later, and possibly after the next higher floor has been commenced. The temporary framework 30, 31, 30A is of metal or plastics. Adjacent column sections are bolted together, with a spacing therebetween, and a sealing ring is employed, concrete being cast-in-situ between the sections.
